Yep, it is that time of year in IA. Saturday’s streets will be clogged with Iowa Fair visitors ready to spend their cash and waistline all things fashioned on a stick; while Ames will welcome every politico with their eye on 2012. Former local, Michelle Bachmann, is sponsoring a private concert with Randy Travis. Political ads and phone calls to boot, ya-hoo!

They are a herd of sheer crazies and full of bull, in my opinion.
But the Iowa State Fair sounds like a real winner and I’d love to see it some day. My husband and I look forward to the Oregon State Fair each year, and have even attended on our anniversary a year or two.
